Katherine here! I have two years of experience teaching private music lessons to students ages 3-13, working with around 25 different students throughout each school year.

I teach beginner piano, guitar, voice, and music exploration for very little ones. 

​

The first music lessons a child takes in their life can shape their relationship with music for the rest of their lives.

 

My priority is introducing kids to the fun in music, and making sure that their lesson is not something they dread every week (like some of us did when we were young), but rather something they look forward to in their busy NYC kid schedule. 

​

This involves lots of fun games, finger puppets, positive reinforcement in form of tiny animal friends and stickers, lots of laughs and lots of music. ​

I am based in Washington Heights, and can teach from my in-home studio or travel to your home (Manhattan/Bronx only).
